About the Performance
In this concert, six artists will collaborate on a thoughtfully curated program. The first half features two piano quartets: one by Mahler—his sole surviving chamber work—and another by Czech composer Josef Suk, showcasing the groundbreaking talent of both composers in their early careers. The second half presents Schubert’s String Quintet in C Major, composed in the final year of his life and marking his last chamber masterpiece. Juxtaposing youthful genius with mature mastery, this program unites six virtuosos to deliver an auditory feast that satisfies every craving.
