The Mountain View Theater is located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Sea World Culture and Arts Center in Shenzhen. It is a tiered, mountain-view professional indoor concert hall and serves as the architectural highlight of the entire building. The interior features warm wooden furnishings, translucent lighting, and simple lines, blending modern and elegant aesthetics. The 3rd-floor lobby offers a panoramic view of Nanshan, while the 4th-floor lobby connects to a rooftop garden. The seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces showcases the meticulous craftsmanship of the renowned architect Fumihiko Maki.
The theater has 304 seats, offering an intimate experience with the stage, akin to the best viewing areas in large theaters. The acoustic performance is exceptional, with a reverberation time of 1.6 seconds, ensuring a clear and direct sound field. It is currently one of the leading chamber music venues in China, making it an ideal space for solo chamber music and vocal performances.

About Performing Arts Connection
The Performing Arts Connection (PAC) is the premier performing arts organization established by China Merchants Shekou. The mission of the PAC is to provide high-quality programming that is inclusive, interdisciplinary, and collaborative and that fosters cultural exploration by engaging diverse communities within Greater Bay region.As a presenter, PAC offers its own diverse arts and cultural programming, such as MVT Classical Music Season, Beauty in Oriental Arts, Kaleidoscopic Greater Bay and additional performances from internationally-renowned performing artists.
Performing Arts Connection Volunteer Program
To promote public participation in community cultural development, highlight the brand’s public welfare attributes, and fully leverage the public engagement and service functions of the Mountain View Theater, Shekou Theatre Festival, and other projects operated by Performing Arts Connection, Performing Arts Connection launches an annual volunteer program every May. This initiative is open to public recruitment, aiming to establish a sustainable volunteer service team for public welfare.
Over the course of one year, these volunteers will become an important bridge between Performing Arts Connection and the community. They will not only participate in the planning and implementation of core projects such as Mountain View Theater and Shekou Theatre Festival, but also actively promote the extension of cultural and artistic resources to a wider public audience. By organizing various activities such as art lectures, workshops, and performances, we aim to spark residents' interest in and enthusiasm for cultural arts, while demonstrating social responsibility.
