Now, more and more music enthusiasts are embracing the charm of "chamber music."
Compared to the grandeur of symphony concerts, these intimate and exquisite small-scale performances offer audiences a completely different listening experience. Though performed by fewer musicians, their artistic value is equally profound.
Intimacy, closeness, elegance, and refinement—these are the hallmarks of chamber music.
For the performers, playing chamber music is far more challenging than performing in an orchestra.
If you’re curious about chamber music,
this salon will guide you in appreciating its unique beauty.
If you’re already a devoted fan,
this is a rare opportunity to engage directly with world-class chamber musicians.
This weekend, the highly acclaimed "Erlang Trio" will make their debut in Shenzhen!
This rising star in classical chamber music gained international recognition after winning the Gold Medal at the prestigious 2023 ARD International Music Competition—the highest honor in the chamber music world. Now, they are coming to Jingshan Theater for their first chamber music salon of the year.
During the event, the trio will not only perform selected chamber music pieces but also share insights on:
1.Why is chamber music more demanding than orchestral playing—or even solo performances?
2.Unlike symphonies, chamber music has no conductor—so who leads the ensemble?
3.How do musicians convey layered emotions through their playing?
4.How do interpretations differ when performing works from diverse cultural backgrounds?
5.As winners of multiple international chamber music competitions, how do these contests differ from solo competitions?
Event Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Check-in Time: 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: Jingshan Theater (3F, Sea World Culture and Arts Center, accessible via Elevator Zone A)
