Renowned as one of China’s foremost violin virtuosos, Yao Jue will  lead an exclusive masterclass at Mountain View Theatre, mentoring outstanding young violinists from Shenzhen and Hong Kong in advanced techniques of tone shaping, expressive phrasing, and performance artistry. She will also share her personal journey in music, inspiring students to pursue their dreams with resilience.  

Joining her as guest speaker is Mr. Au Chun Hei, conductor of the exchange program’s orchestra, who will join Yao Jue in discussing invaluable insights into mastering the craft. Yao Jue

Celebrated as a leading violinist of her generation, Yao Jue was appointed a Justice of the Peace by the Hong Kong SAR Government   in 2013 and awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star (2017) and Silver    Bauhinia Star (2023) for her cultural contributions. She holds Honorary Fellowships from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Hong Kong Baptist University. Since 2018, she has served as a Member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, a role she continues to fulfill with distinction.
